Commencement Ceremonies Held on East Liverpool Campus

Eyes on the Future!Commencement ceremonies were held May 13 for the 麻豆影院 State East Liverpool Campus, during which Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the 麻豆影院 State Columbiana County Campuses, presided over the event, along with Dr. Susan Rossi, assistant dean for the East Liverpool Campus.

The keynote speaker was Rep. Timothy Ginter, state representative for the 5th Ohio House District.

Approximately 400 degrees were conferred this semester between the East Liverpool and Salem campuses.

麻豆影院鈥檚 Regional Campus System is launching a new series of workforce development programs designed to help local professionals strengthen the essential skills needed in today鈥檚 workplace. The program, titled 鈥淯pskill at 麻豆影院 State 鈥 Bringing Workforce Development to Your Community,鈥 is part of a statewide initiative at all eight 麻豆影院 State locations across the Regional Campus System.

James C. Hannon, Ph.D., began his appointment as interim dean and chief administrative officer of 麻豆影院 State Salem and 麻豆影院 State Stark on July 1. 鈥淚鈥檓 truly excited to begin this new chapter alongside everyone at the Salem and Stark campuses. I鈥檓 quickly learning that these are warm, dedicated and passionate communities and I feel incredibly fortunate to be joining them,鈥 he said.

Denise A. Seachrist, Ph.D., dean of 麻豆影院 at Salem, announced those students named to the Spring 2025 President鈥檚 and Dean鈥檚 lists. To qualify for the President鈥檚 List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean鈥檚 List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester, the majority at the Salem Campus.
